creatures of comfort is having a 15% off sale on all shoes, sweaters and jackets.
if you like the black or tan no. 6 ankle boots, they have a few sizes left for $293. mine haven't arrived yet, hopefully tomorrow. i ordered a 40, which they recommended for a size 8.5 shoe.
UPDATE:
the 40s in black are already gone! i am crossing my fingers that mine arrive tomorrow, the weather is perfect for them.
Very cute boots Erica! I bought No. 6 boots on sale this summer, a size 41 shearling knee-high pair (I'm between 8 and 8.5 in shoes and am praying that these remain the right size when it's snowing). I love both the black and camel and would pick up a pair if my budget weren't very tight...
ReplyDeletei hear you on the budget issues, carissa! i am directing most of my winter budget toward these boots, so anything else will have to be purchased on super sale.
ReplyDeletedid you go up to a 41 because of the lining? now i'm getting nervous that the 40s will be too small.
I hope that they work for you. The booties that I was obsessing over arrived and were a complete flop. Back they went, but fear not, ebay may have lead me to something better . . .
ReplyDeleteHey Erica, I went up to size 41 strictly due to the lining -- the whole boot is lined, toe to knee-level so it takes up room. I haven't had the chance to try your style but think the 40s should be perfect -- good luck!
ReplyDeletei think i read somewhere that the no.6 boots with the shearling lining are designed to be worn barefoot...even in winter! that sounds so heavenly...i wish all my fall/winter boots were like this.
ReplyDeleteHey Erica, I'm a very solid 9, and the 40s fit me pretty well - maybe just a tad small, and they are most comfortable with thinner socks for me. I will say that the first time I tried to get them on I completely forgot to undo the buckle, which duh, really helps - now that I've worn them a few times I don't really need to to that, but when they are all brand new and stiff it seems to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteHope you love yours! Grrr - I wish I could have gotten mind on sale though!
Heather
they're here and i think the 40s are perfect. i love the darker brown color. i don't think i could do black shoes, and the mocha would probably be less versatile....this is basically my attempt to justify paying the full amount.
ReplyDeleteif i had more money, i would definitely want a pair of the shearling lined boots--so much nicer than Uggs.
i'll post photos and potential outfits tomorrow when the light is better!
yippee! can't wait for photos.
ReplyDeleteI called Creatures of Comfort and they just got more black in! Yeah!
