considering my track record with apc madras (i've never kept a piece for longer than a season), i should probably not look at
the new collection. but it's 70 degrees today (!!!), and the bright prints make me happy. plus, i really do need a new floppy sunhat.

that green checked top is calling out to me. but i know what you mean about the longevity of madras pieces. they seems like a steal compared to regular apc but $100 for a top i probably won't keep is definitely no bargain.
but still... the striped sailor sweater is awfully cute!
It's no APC, but- there's a b&w floppy hat that liberty of london has done for its recently launched capsule line at Target. i'm drawn to it, even though i've had zero luck with capsule lines in the past. Still, going to check it out today...
My wandering eyes are looking at the green top.

i tried on that hat at target. it was too small for my head.
oh i love madras...;))
tried the floppy libertine @ target today ~ left feeling like i had the world's biggest head. So it's comforting to hear that there might be a universal fit problems with it! The print, however, was really nice.
the hat is a bit shallow, too, right? suddenly i felt like a bobblehead. the print is very cute and wearable, but i think this madras hat will have to do.
i like that first top!
and if it makes you feel better, almost every hat is too small for my giant melon. i can only wear toques made from stretchy wool. (as you can see. even this one was a size m/l)
these are all so sweet and summery
very picnic in the park pieces! it's been gorgeous here in nyc too, though it's still slightly odd to be waltzing about in 70+ degree loveliness when all the trees are still bare.
Really cute. Although I have to admit I thought these were children's clothes at first!
HI Erica,
Thanks for your comment, I have just emailed you.
P.s. I have a crush on that Madras tunic too...you should see it in the Navy check..wow!
So cute!! Curious about your real-life experience with Madras. Everything always looks so cute online and I've seen a few pieces irl but have never tried anything on.
