we just started packing books. it's scary to see just how many books were added to our library during the past 8 years. and to think i arrived in cambridge with just two boxes of books.
i can give some recommendations for sure! do you know what neighbourhood you're moving to yet? feel free to send me questions if you have some! caitlynmmurphy (at) gmail.com
Congratulations, Erica! That is no small feat. You should be so proud. The series of photos of you, Matthew, and Leon is really beautiful and natural. Enjoy the adventures to come (and good luck with all the packing!!). All the best to you and your family.
Welcome back! And congratulations on finishing the dissertation. I hope the move goes well--has Matthew found something in Toronto? And the three of you look so great--Leon is adorable and so big.
whoo hoo! congratulations! you are, most certainly, another inspiring mama! i love the photos... they're gorgeous. you three make an incredibly adorable family. it's nice to see you again in blogland... you've been missed my dear! hope all goes well with packing and that you're able to enjoy some sun whenever it arrives!
Congratulations!! Like lemonade, I've been a long time subscriber of your blog and am from Toronto also. Hope your move goes well and that you enjoy the city! It gets pretty hot here in the summer, but it's such a great time of year. Toronto's got some pretty terrific patios!
Hello I am a long-time reader and cannot be more glad that you are blogging again. I used to live in Boston and am now living in Toronto. It is a lovely city with many small town moments. I hope you enjoy your new city and please keep blogging!
PS: Shopping is not as great here. More pricey, limited availability and high tax. If you have anything you were contemplating to buy I would say grab it before crossing the border. Many Canadians make a trip to US to shop.

Hi Erica, my name is Monica. I came across your blog some time back and followed it because of your great taste and appreciated the links :) I just wanted to send you warm welcomes to Canada, and a heads up that you can find Chimala in Toronto at Lileo on Mill St. Best of luck!

Good luck with packing and moving. Moving to a new city, let alone a new country is really difficult. I hope it all goes smoothly.

The photos are lovely...Leon reminds me a bit of Dennis the Menace in this photo (just the striped shirt and stance!).
