Oh my, what a cutie! Love getting to see these photos. Yay for moccasin booties! And Leon is just an incredibly handsome little man.
I love how chic you look as a pregnant woman in that beautiful dress. Also that picture of you and Elias is so good. You look serene and totally unfazed by having just given birth.
Leon looks so proud, and you look incredible for only having given birth 3 hours prior! Gorgeous pictures, thankyou for sharing. You probably haven't had time but it's interesting looking at side by side pictures of Leon and Elias at the same age. I didn't think Audrey and Lucy were alike until I did this. Darling moccasins I first thought 'Wiksten?'.
Erica, my big time congratulations to you, Matt and Leon on the safe and healthy arrival of baby Elias! I absolutely love his name--and admit to being a little biased on that front, as your baby shares his name with my husband. I admire and respect your decision to have a home birth. It was not an option for us with Eloise, but we stayed at home as long as possible and you are so right, being in your own home environment makes an incredible difference in managing the emotional and physical transition of labor. You do look amazing and I hope you are feeling well and just soaking up this time as much as possible and not worrying about anything other than caring for yourself and your beautiful family. Again, all the best to you! And, hooray for moccasin booties! :-)
Thank you, Erica! Yes, we love E names in this family--E.J. (my Elias) has a lot of E names on his side in honor of his grandmother Elaine, who died before he was born. I also can't get over how much Eloise has changed in the past month. She is really coming to life and becoming more interactive every day. All things good to you and your beautiful family. If you get a chance, I posted some Eloise pictures to Flickr. :-)
i love the photos you take in general and these capture a maternal newborn mood so well. congratulations erica--for all your recent successes as well as elias!

Jenny, I had been looking forward to breaking out your moc booties again. I have entire outfits built around them, in fact!
I credit the home birth for my relatively calm self. There's nothing quite like being in your own bed especially once everyone has tidied up and left.
That pip squeak chapeau dress is amazing. So simple yet the fabric alone makes it worth buying.
so precious!
and now I'm still wishing I had bought that pipsqueak dress the first go-round.
you look amazing. hope you're enjoying some good cuddles with all of your boys.
I love these pictures! Elias and Leon are so adorable! Like Jenny said, you look so amazing and calm after just giving birth. Wow!

tiny baby feet! and i can't believe how grown-up leon looks. congratulations to you all again!
So sweet. I hope Elias is a good sleeper. And Leon is looking do grown up!
Elias is a pretty mellow guy so far but time will tell! I do think they look very similar. I keep thinking he's Leon redux--it's probably the clothes!
Sweet and happy days! So lovely.
So cute! Congratulations!
so sweet. Enjoy this crazy and oh so special time.
You look amazing. Congrats again!

what beautiful pictures! Such sweet moments.
Congrats to you too! Aren't E names the best? They grow so quickly, I can hardly believe how much they change in the first month.
