Back during my early spring of Great Expectations, I updated my worn-out closet with several new things from J.Crew. Now that the dust has settled, I'm feeling sheepish about my mini shopping spree. Well, at least I'm prepared for any teaching that comes my way...!

Just had to say I love Elias's lip expression! So darn cute.
It didn't work out, sadly. On the bright side, I feel better prepared for what will be another bruising experience next year.
He and Leon have identical expressions, it's pretty dang adorable! I love how babyish he still is. Almost walking, maybe in two weeks!
Hang in there, Erica. You'll get something eventually. Will you be staying in Toronto for another year, then? In the meantime, you'll definitely be prepared for teaching and future interviews!

I'm sorry to hear that, but every interview is another experience, my friend got more and more confident as she went through interviews and now she is in a very good place. Never let it drag you down! It's also good to have the interview outfit conundrum resolved, too.

jocy and nanashi--true, it's nice to have an interview outfit set for next year. i'm not sure how many rounds i can take, though, before i need to reassess.
I know those rounds are absolutely draining, and not getting a job offer after the drama and stress of the campus visit is utterly demoralizing. Here's an article from the Chronicle of Higher Education that helps me make sense of my own disappointments:
