I picked up a pair of the new skinny fit overalls in the Adriatic wash at Madewell when I was in Boston two weeks ago, and I've been wearing them nonstop. I sized down to XS, but possibly could have gone smaller because the denim is very stretchy. From the back they fit like a nice pair of high rise jeans. I cannot recommend these enough!
So far I've been wearing them with Uniqlo heat tech long underwear, a flannel button down shirt,
and a blazer. The extra fabric over my core really helps keep me warm. I would love a pair in black if they ever offer it--preferably without all the distressing.
A word abut fit. I'm 5'4" and 115 lbs with a long torso, and I've lengthened the straps as far as they'll go. Also, size down if you want them close fitting. I thought the size small made me look wide. It was only due to the persistence of the very helpful shop girl that I was convinced to try on other sizes.

What a great idea and these look great on you. A simple black would be very cool as well.
They look great! I hope you had a fun trip despite all the mounds of snow ;)
I had seen a pair in black on there website about a month ago but they were all sold out of every size, other wise I would have gotten them they looked so cute.
They look great on you. It's funny but I was looking at them on Friday but I don't buy anything full price and I also couldn't face stripping off all the layers of clothing I was wearing...
I did feel odd paying full price (minus the educator's discount).
The nice thing about these overalls is that they fit like regular skinny jeans, so when you're stripping off the layers, the pants part doesn't fall to the ground once you undo the straps. But I agree, it can be annoying!
I've been eyeing these- glad to hear you like them so much! I really want some overalls and was even considering Carhartt coveralls (they are kind of a "thing" here) but there is no need to go that intense with the look if there is a more flattering alternative...
I've been looking for denim overalls too. Oddly enough the closest I got was a pair of soft black denim ones from the GAP kid's department (1969 style) in Honolulu last week. I could have happily worn a kid's XL but they only had a large, which looked kind of comical on me. Love your ones.
