making art

yesterday leon and i went to a few open studios in our neighborhood. i know kate gakenheimer from the playground but had yet to see her work. photographs are such a poor substitute for experiencing them in person. the last time i was in a room filled with stained glass was nearly a year and a half ago when i was at ste. chapelle in paris. i've never seen anything like kate's works, which are seem to be drawings on glass. i would love to stare at that owl while taking a break from work.

Thanks for posting these pictures, these stained glasses are so beautiful, they will add character; bring color and happiness to any home. Do you know what the price range is? Thanks.

These are great! It's nice to know that someone young is doing stained glass, and so beautifully too.
