east coast meets west coast (fwk engineered garments)

every time lauren posts outfits at arrow & arrow, i feel like i've found the promised land of outfits. i've now spent 10 years east of the Sierra Nevada, and i consider my clothing choices informed just as much by east coast prep and pragmatism. the second outfit also confirms my deep-seated belief that there's nothing wrong with me that can't be fixed by a freshly washed white button-up shirt.

I had the same white button down re-discovery while browsing the uniqlo site. A white button down is paired w. leggings. Done. I grabbed a white shirt from my man-child's closet. That's my winter-to-spring transition outfit.

i keep forgetting how good a white shirt can be. those shorts also remind me that i need to make a new pair of cut-offs. it's tricky finding the right length (and accounting for shrinkage)

i keep wanting to get something from fwk. i love the navy mac on their site.

i just found all these great linen button ups at uniqlo for $19 - doesn't look like they are on sale though online http://www.uniqlo.com/us/store/lifewear/women-premium-linen-long-sleeveshirt/075682-13-002 but still pretty afforable! the fit is really good too & soften up good in the wash.
