jackson, johnston & roe are
old news, but oh, i can't stop staring at the
sofie dress. thank goodness i'm going to nyc on friday. i'm going to the a.p.c. surplus store in brooklyn, so i think i might have to drop by jumelle and bird to try on everything they have by jackson, johnston & roe.
i am also in love with this print. they should design bags and pillows, in fact, they should design my life. i love their aesthetic...
when will spring arrive?

Show us what you end up finding! I love that print also. Spring has popped in and out the last few weeks here. I think I have to relocate by next winter though. This one was really drawn out!
ohh... these are so lovely! spring is on its way... i just know it is... although i can still see snow here, in western mass! have fun in new york... i'm going to live vicariously through your shopping adventures! is that alright?
i wish i lived in the pacific northwest still, i miss the drizzly rain and abundance of flowers.
western mass., eh? i was thinking of driving out to mass moca, but i think i'll wait until it isn't so brown and cold...
i will try my best to take some dressing room photos. i probably won't buy anything, but i love trying clothing/shoes on. i guess i'll live vicariously through me, too!
I wish you could introduce me to the JJ&R Spring '08 model. Like now.
ooh nice...hope you find some goodies!
hi there, i read your blog all the time but never left comments =)
i hope you find some good stuff at apc surplus store! i went there a few weeks ago and was disappointed by the poor selection. you would think that at outlet stores things are heavily discounted, but no, everything was ONLY 50% off retail...
i love the sofie dress and the print too.
david,
i think your best bet would be to move to Brooklyn!
i'm expecting the apc surplus store to be hit or miss. i'm hoping we'll be able to find at least one thing for either matthew or me.
it's true, the discount is only as low as their twice-yearly sales, which are pretty well picked over. we'll see if i have any luck!
Great print!!
Have you been to the APC surplus yet, it isn't very exciting...I recommend Sodafine as well and Sprout Home across the street.
Moon River Chatel is my favorite home store in the neighborhood.
ooh, sodafine! i didn't realize they were across the street from the apc surplus store. thanks, jessica!
Jumelle and Bird are definitely worth the trip! There are actually two Bird shops, a bit of a distance away from each other (about 25 minutes?).
As for APC, I have better luck (and better discounts--sometimes as much as 75% off).
