rachel comey mrs. warms coat, $429.
mayle short trench jacket with shearling collar, $469.
mina perhonen cotton shadow snow dress, $369. i've been obsessed with this print for a while now....
a.p.c. peacoat, $289. so soft, it's like a sweater. i nearly bought this, but decided to go with the plaid cape instead.
i've been so busy following the news about the election and the crashing economy that i failed to notice that Bird has begun to mark down its fall offerings. Impulse has also started its sales.

I love that Rachel Comey coat way too much.
That snow print is beautiful.
I'm waiting for more Bird markdowns. They have a lot of stock and they are getting holiday collections in this week. Fingers crossed that this economy will mean some deeper discounts. I haven't gone to the new Park Slope outpost yet (this has been a busy semester) but I think they have the coat I want--the Mayle Odette.
Did you call Mayle about Thea yet, Erica?
Oh, that 2nd coat is so lovely. If only.
hey erica - there's an online sale at steven alan till Thurs as well - 30% off :)

ahh i'm trying soooo hard not to pay attention to any sales going on right now... restraint!!
yes, restraint is the order of the day!
i definitely don't need any new coats right now.....
beautiful!! i love bird so much
I LOVE that Mayle coat! Near perfection.
I live close to Bird in Park Slope and stopped by -- my on-sale try-ons included a fantastic Rachel Comey top and some Loeffler Randall boots -- but I walked out with just the full-price but reasonable A.P.C. knit skirt you profiled. The salesgirl said she thought a lot of stock would remain to be marked down even further.
carissa,
i'm betting on more markdowns soon. i probably shouldn't be buying too much, but if the prices are reasonable, i would love to pick up a few things from Bird.
i love my little knit skirt, it has been so perfect with leggings. it's a bit tricky finding a top that works with it, however, because i don't want to look too roly poly....
