more ace & jig

i couldn't stop thinking about how soft and lovely the ace & jig fabric was. of course stel's and bows+arrows both sold out of the dress and tank in my size (medium) by the time i was ready to commit. i called steven alan tribeca this morning. no luck. and then i checked penelope's shop online, and there it was. they have the tank in yellow, white, and blue, too. i went with the navy version because it's august and i'm gearing up for autumn. i'm hoping to pair it with tights, boots, and a parka this winter. i may just have to get the tank, too. there's still at least five more weeks of warm weather...

I like what you said in your earlier post about the nostalgic SoCal 80's vibe of these pieces...I love the tank.

So lovely--I'm glad you got it. And it was so reasonable too.

After your description I had to purchase this dress too. I love the stripes and the feel of the fabric. It's heavier than I imagined - in a good way. I think you're right: perfect for tights this fall. I purchased a small, although a medium might have been better - hopefully it will stretch out just a tad.

i think the small would have worked for me, too, but i like having more room in the shoulders. after two wears, my dress feels even softer. i can't tell if it has stretched, though.
