thinking of fall: rachel comey

Boatneck swing pullover, La Garconne
Dahlia dress, La Garconne
Cabot coat, La Garconne

rachel comey's coats never disappoint. i always love the deep forest greens and aubergines of fall, and the loose easy shapes of her fall-winter collection are just what i'm looking for. also on my radar for fall--pip-squeak chapeau.

would be nice for teaching, right? too bad the two pieces together are more than i want to spend in a single go!

i know i just told you this, but i got one of the pipsqueak shirts and i love it! it's one of the button ups in a really nice light blue. i had been thinking about it since the ny trip and then i was up on the north shore and found this shop called french & italian - have you been there or heard of it? they had so much awesome stuff (erica tanov + some other good ones i'd never seen in boston) + it was on sale! score!

i really want that skirt/jumper on their site now, sigh. and that raglan sweater from last winter - i hope they make it again!

and of course the rachel comey is amazing.

I love that Rachel Comey dress but what's up with that price? It's over 30% more than her dresses were last season and the price hike appears to be all over her apparel line. I feel a blog post coming on about it.

i know, the price hike is a bit scary!

julia--i had always wanted to go to french+italian ever since i saw it featured on lucky ages ago. pod sometimes carries pipsqueak clothing. i've been thinking about the linen button down...

i'm hoping sveta will make a similar raglan sweater, too. i emailed her about the fall collection...crossing fingers.

it's freezing in my office, i need to cozy up with sweaters!
