The Interview Outfit

My NYC trip was a success, although I think I spent more time traveling than in the city. Now I need another outfit for mid-March. Just for fun, let's build an outfit around this top. Shoes that can withstand 8 hours on my feet, and something that works with my trench. Since this is all hypothetical, let's look for a necklace, too. If only the interview were as much fun as imaginary outfits!

Oh yes the Carson heel is my favorite! I also like the Carson lace-up.

Yep, boy band of outsiders. I've read that the top is sheer. I like the collar and pintucks though.

Ferragamo Varas Lillas are also good, although the 1-1.5-inch heel might be a bit low. As for necklaces, I'm partial to the chunky Object and Totem necklaces, though maybe that's a bit too fashion forward for a job interview.

Glad to hear your trip was a success!

glad to hear that nyc went well, great that you'll be headed back in March!

for shoes, just saw these on sale : http://lostandfoundshop.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=83 and i think this style has a rubber bottom which is good because i always wear through the leather so quick. i'm also curious about those martiniano flats that are popping up - they look comfy and come in a lot of colors. i love the look of the margaret howell summer pieces, the pants and shirts look perfect for an interview.

I think I can be a little more fashion forward with this interview. I also like the dream collective necklaces.
