I have bought the A.P.C wool peacoat in black. Because I already have a yellow jacket. And you know what ? It's heaven !!!!

Lovely stuff. Good luck with the writing--I have to do some tomorrow (I have a friend in from D.C.). The Aiko cardigan is lovely but as this picture suggests, the sleeves run short. It runs a little small, I think. I have the medium and it is great but the large would have been even better. Alas, it was sold out in that size.

marion-
i know, that peacoat is wonderful! so soft and cozy, if only i could justify yet another superfluous coat purchase.

moya-
bummer that it runs small, i'm still a little sad that i couldn't find the aiko in sable in a medium on sale. oh well!

doesn't look like its on sale, but how does the apc plaid cape sizing run? i wear a small in shirts but a 6-8 (10) in jackets because of broad-ish shoulders. is it fitted around the shoulders?

sara-
it is seamed for the shoulders, but i don't find it to be very constricting. my cape is a small, 17" flat where it begins to curve, and the 21" near the top of your arms. i think you should be fine in either a small or a medium, though.

oooh those Rachel Comey moccasin boots are calling my name, and they still have my size left... quick, remind me that her shoes are uncomfortable (not that these ones look it)!

erin-

i tried them on, and they hurt my ankles. if yours are less sensitive than mine, they are otherwise quite comfortable.

i will warn you, though, that they are a bit pointy in the toe, which i wasn't expecting, but lovely nonetheless.

let us know if you end up ordering them!

thanks Erica! I ended up trying on a similar pair (without the cutouts) at a shop in Toronto and they fit me really well, so now I have a decision to make... gaaaah!

lucky you that they fit well! the price is really good, and i think they would be so versatile. i wish her shoes didn't kill my feet!

alright, final update: I was a heartbeat away from ordering them, and then I went to the One of a Kind craft show and found an amazing moccasin booth, so I ordered a custom pair of black ankle boots (with no fringe) for only $85 instead! pretty happy ending, I'd say.

great find on the ankle boots! i love those, too, but the fringe--not so much. it's nice that you were able to order a custom pair sans fringe. what a great price, and i bet they'll be super comfortable.
