waiting for fall

zero by maria cornejo foil dress, $892 (sigh), available at La Garconne.
one of the most elegant side silhouettes i've seen lately. i don't know why, but my resistance to all-black outfits is weakening.

portland, me, trip notes to follow....

wow - simply beautiful. A friend of mines' boyfriend is her assistant designer and says she is a delight to work for.

i just love going into her shop! everything is so elegant and beautifully made. i've read a bit about her online, and she really does seem like a wonderful person.

Stunning dress. Covers just the right amount for fall. The price tag makes me want to give it a go myself though!

oh my goodness, that dress is almost perfect! personally I'd lose the zip, but I love the shape. a girl can dream right?

Mmm... the Cornejo store and Margiela store are right near each other, one dangerous tempting place in New York, I must say. I agree that one can never have enough black dresses, but it is hard to come across one as beautiful as this one (too bad the price is as dreamy as the silouette)
