toast on sale

i swear i'm not buying anything. after the sticker shock of paris (the sales start this week there), these prices don't look half bad. but still....

oohhh, and the pound is so weak right now! its like practically 1 to 1 with the euro...

ok, i clearly am too excited about sales time (and loving dark dresses this winter)

and http://tinyurl.com/a28x7l
(in black)

should be showing up at my home sometime soon. (fingers crossed that the fit is easy since they are both jersey)

ooh those are both so lovely and wearable. if only the dollar and the pound were 1:1, too!

i am so sorely tempted by the repettos, especially after feeling so depressed in paris.

I love those Repetto shoes (and the bottom dress for that matter). I actually bought those shoes in a metallic red last year and have since sent them on. They were my most favourite style, but I bought my usual size which is a size too small in Repetto plus the backs are very low and kept slipping off. And I have quite tiny feet. So sad!

sara-
that bag is gorgeous and so practical looking! too bad about the price, though.

catherine-
thanks for the repetto review. sounds like they would probably fall off my feet, too. i am never sure which size to order in repetto. i have a pair (no heel) in 39 that fit well, but one never knows. my maloles flats were great for 5 months and then developed holes. argh. i need a new pair to replace them.

my dresses came!

the black one is a pretty heavy weight knit, with really nice shaping under the bust. i went for a 10 and its juussst big enough in the arms, it doesnt have a lot of stretch.

the purple tunic is super super soft and very light weight (almost shear), im thinking about getting some leggings to wear it with, i like the color and the pleating at the bust.

so glad to hear that both dresses worked out for you, sara. they sound perfect for this time of year, soft, stretchy, and cozy. i hope you can find ways to wear them year-round, they sound so comfortable...
