we are in this together

i saw lorena siminovich (petit collage)'s "we are in this together" collage on doe's website a couple of years back, and it really resonated with me. well, i just found out that there's a print version available.

i think it'll be perfect for welcoming the baby (in the next week, we hope!)....

what a great message - and such an exciting time for you - nine months comes quickly! get some rest + all the best for the big day.

Very sweet! I love all the affirmation-style prints that I've been seeing lately. Sometimes you just gotta hear it, you know?

I'll be honest. I am a bit weary of the whole proclamations on a poster trend. But I LOVE this one. And it's especially sweet for a nursery. Thanks for sharing it.

I can't believe the baby is just a week away! So exciting!

i'm pretty tired of the proclamations on a poster trend, too! one or two aren't so bad, but at a certain point, i'd rather have non-wordy things on my walls.

off to target to spend my friday night browsing the aisles!

It is lovely--perfect for the baby too. How are you feeling?

moya-
the past week has been rough, but at the same time, it hasn't. i know some people experience a burst of energy toward the end, but i've never been so tired in this pregnancy as i am now.

we're finally making progress with the bedroom, so that's helping me stay focused and positive in spite of the fatigue and deadlines...

I'm sorry you've been so exhausted but I'm glad you have something to occupy you (other than the lost Mociun dress). I'm actually amazed you've been blogging this week. You are due on Tuesday, right?

due date is tuesday, but i think it might be earlier than that. or at least i hope so, otherwise these contractions are going to make me miserable!

trying to finish the semblance of a chapter draft right now for a finishing grant letter of recommendation. i could go on and on about why this deadline is both a shock to me and completely expected, but now is not the time for complaining. this month hasn't been very productive, but i won't go into the reasons for that, either. it would only make me frustrated, which is the last thing i need!

ok, back to writing. i really have to produce something...moya, seriously, i think we're crazy! academia really takes a toll on us.

Good luck, Erica. I often think I'm crazy to have chosen this career, but other times, it seems like the only thing in the world I want to do. I hope you get your chapter finished today. I've got to finish my book intro this week--I am procrastinating too much. The file is a mess--and 60 pages long... I have to cut it down to around 20 and add some notes from a book I've been carrying around all week.

I hope your labor goes well--we'll all be thinking of you this week and sending good wishes your way.
