i think it's safe to say i resent my feet. these rachel comey derringers would be comfortable if they were a tiny bit longer, and just a bit wider. i ordered them in an 8.5, and i'm not sure the 9s would be wide enough. i sent them back yesterday. it's such a shame, they were only $120! (code 'tulip'). free shipping on returns, even. what's not to love about forward by revolve?

aww. well, maybe you can try your luck with some of the opening ceremony oxfords/lace-up styles. my pair fits quite comfortably, and there's also a cydwoq sale currently on at a mano.
I nkow you've sent them back, but you can get shoes stretched, especially in the width. I do it all the time with too-narrow vintage shoes.
that's a bummer. at least from what i can tell from the picture, the color looks great with your skin tone. maybe they will show up somewhere in a 9. do you think you'll try the rag and bone ones? too bad revolve doesn't stock those as well. once, forward by revolve sent me someone else's order, so they shipped the correct stuff via overnight to me and i only got the clothes one day late for a total of 3 days after placing the order. not only was that fast shipping but free too. a very customer friendly business!
this is just tragic. i am so sorry they didn't work out. well, if it makes you feel in good company, my derringers make my stress fracture hurt. I've been mostly wearing my Repettos this summer. Fooey on RC.

i tried on the rag & bones in black at the Tannery today. they definitely run big. i found them to be a little too long and pointy in general. sigh. i should just buy another pair of moccasins. maybe from Quoddy Trail this time? i am fed up with uncomfortable shoes!
sorry to hear that. they were so cute. i'm so lazy and i just stick to f-troupe, actually just yesterday i bought 2 more of the same canvas oxfords because they were one sale. mind you, i did buy 2 different colors but they were only £13.50. :)
As someone with wide feet, I feel your pain. Don't even get me started on sandals.
