Thomas Sires sample sale online at Of A Kind

It's going on right now! I just ordered the coat in black (small). It was only $180--I couldn't resist.

Rats, I don't know how to blog on a phone, so no link to Of A Kind...

Wanted to add that the shoulder measurement will matter most with the coat since the body is not form fitting. I've gained enough weight in my shoulders that most of my shirts and dresses are too tight, therefore bumping me up to a medium. I ordered the small because I'm assuming I'll go back to my regular size.

I don't have Internet at home and my phone data plan is only for emergencies, so I'm glad I checked my email this morning! The skirts and sweatshirts are tempting but I'll have to be satisfied for now. Thanks for thinking of me Leanne!

I am loving the double breasted blazer although without the matching baggy pants. I also like the plaid coat with sherpa and the boxy wool plaid coat ...

hi pearl, i'm so sorry i missed your comment. for some reason blogger doesn't email me notifications anymore...

i hope you were able to call thomas sires. i find that calling always works best. i would suspect that a small would be fine. the coat is meant to be loose-fitting, but i didn't find that sizing up to medium made it excessively big on me.

Have to rave the plaid coat! I absolutely LOVE IT. Hope you are thrilled with yours too, Erica!

hi erica! thanks for your response. i was finally able to talk to fiona (thomas). she seemed to think that either size would work (the difference between the two sizes is very subtle) and i decided to go for the S because i like to wear heavy sweaters in the winter.

i missed out on the of a kind sale, but i ended up getting the coat for $156(!) from the thomas sires shop. i am very excited. i rarely experience this kind of shopping triumph, mostly due to my own inability to make a decision!

fingers crossed that the S works out--i saw that another commenter found the sleeves to be overlong.
