rachel comey collins men brogue
plus: not suede. traditional detailing.
minus: ten dollars more.
too many options....
Edit:: I Bought Them! Huge thanks to Style Bite for the coupon code "Spring08" (valid on orders over $200 until March 7).
Edit:: You can find them at Mick Margo, Bird, and at Kick Pleat. La Garconne has a high-heel version in white. I am assuming more Rachel Comey oxford styles will be trickling in during the next week or so.
Update:: Tragedy. They are perfect and adorable, BUT--they are digging into my ankle bone. I refuse to suffer for cute shoes. Especially $230 shoes. Maybe it's time for me to buy Repetto Zizis....

endless oxford search
Let's put it this way: they aren't cheap ($264), and suede can dirty easily. But, they look comfortable and stylish, and the color is perfect. Have I finally found my oxfords?
edit:::They're by Opening Ceremony, available at Impulse.

new mittens
i received these perfect mittens from erica yesterday. they're deep olive-white and fit my hands exactly. i just took them out for a morning jog (wind chill 13 degrees), and they were extremely warm and comfortable to wear. i've never owned a pair of mittens that fits so precisely, and they're beautiful to look at, too. thanks erica!

zero maria cornejo
i ordered this tunic dress from Maria Cornejo yesterday and it arrived today. i guess that $20 shipping fee was worth something after all! as with all of her pieces, everything is simple yet expertly designed and constructed, which is what i really gravitate towards nowadays. case in point: wiksten made, green olives design, uniform-studio, and le bouton studio.
i didn't realize how sheer the silk/cotton fabric is, so i will have to figure out a better way of wearing it. maybe uniformly darker clothing underneath? any thoughts?
Zero Maria Cornejo silk shirting tunic dress. $135, originally $540.

a.p.c floral print
the top image is from the a.p.c. s/s 08 look book. a few more images can be seen here. i really like the retro floral print, but of course it isn't available in a.p.c.'s online shop. i guess i better plan a trip to NYC to see the new collection before everything that isn't on the website sells out.
